This is the Big One
We're down to one game (unless you count the Pro Bore) and one Pennsylvania team left to knock off. Yup, Stupor Bore XXXIX hits the airwaves tomorrow afternoon in all its overblown glory. The only thing more overblown than the hype will be the guys in the green-and-white uniforms who have positioned themselves to be this year's NFC sacrificial lamb... er, bird. If this sounds like I'm leaning toward picking New England in a landslide, don't be surprised to see the Pats fall behind early. But I have great faith in Tom Brady and company to pull it out when the game's on the line. The thing to remember about New England is that they don't often win in blowouts, but they do win. Often. Sunday will be no exception. Philly's Donovan McNabb better come out hot, because it will be a long day trying to find unopen receivers if he doesn't. The Pats won't need a last-second field goal to win this one. Patriots, 34-26.
