Some Birthday Present
I can accept losing four games to the Senior Bro, but it was the way I lost them. Now I know how the Tampa Bay Buccaneers must have felt on that Monday night game.
The 49ers remain the only team in the league to have a sub-500 record, but still have outscored their opponents. What does that mean? It means that they have lost a lot of close games, in short, the 49ers this year always seem to find a way to lose.
The Raiders aren't any better. Their only wins this year have come against pathetic San Diego and almost equally pathetic Bengals, and those games were far closer than they should have been.
The class of the NFL appears to be Kansas City and Minnesota. Sorry, but I just don't believe in Carolina. Not a single team that won a division last year is leading in their division this year...that's a total of eight new division leaders for those of you who can't do the math.
Thanks for the birthday wishes Glenn and Ben! Hopefully the added age will bring added wisdom in terms of my prognosticating abilities! Well...probably not.
