Happy Halloween
...to all those hollow weenies that pass for pro football teams.
It's been a while since I've posted, largely because of vacation, and now work. Can't say that the first half of the season has gone badly for the Senior Bro, but there sure are a couple of games I'd like to have back. One was last week's pick of Green Bay over Minnesota. I had the Vikings picked but wasn't sure, so I consulted the "experts" in the media who convinced me to switch my pick to Green Bay... that the Vikes were in such disarray that they couldn't possibly win. Know what? I've been doing this now for more than 20 years and I still haven't learned to just follow my intuition.
And what does my intuition tell me about this week? That we split on two NawFuL games: Miami at New Orleans and Cleveland at Houston. At least I have the homies. ... But I also have teams with a combined record of 2-11. Yuch!
